Biloela Tools and Bearings now has a position available for an experienced Workshop Mechanic/Accessory Fitter to work in the automotive industry.

This is a 40 hour/week role, with a rotating roster to work Saturday mornings. 

The position requires a high level of autonomy as you will also be dealing with front counter enquiries aside from your hands on duties in the workshop. Biloela Tools and Bearings therefore requires a person who has leadership qualities and is driven for results.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Removing and fitting exhaust systems;
• Manufacturing custom exhaust systems;
• Fitting of 4x4 and automotive accessories;
• Fitting of suspension and steering components;
• Good communication skills;
• Customer focused towards results; and
• Have sound knowledge in using computers.

The successful applicant will be highly motivated, able to work well in a team environment and be competent at welding.

Familiarity with auto electrics and a mechanical background would be advantageous. Honesty and reliability are essential.
