About the Opportunity
UMW Niugini Limited has an exciting opportunity for a full time Equipment Maintenance Manager to join its team, working in Hidden Valley, PNG. This is aFly In Fly Out (FIFO) role, involving 16 days on site and 12 days off site, with some shift work.
Reporting directly to the Mining Operations Manager, the Equipment Maintenance Manager is responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance operations for the UMW Project workforce assigned to this project to execute the maintenance services contracts on the fleets of construction and mining equipment.
You will effectively manage and control expenditure in all areas of the operation and in conjunction with planning staff ensures a scheduled flow of work through the workshop with the aim to minimise delays.
An attractive salary package will be negotiable based on experience, circa AUD$125,000 after tax. You will enjoy additional benefits including an annual performance bonus!
In addition, you will be granted up to 14 days medical leave each calendar year, as well as emergency medical evacuation insurance coverage.
