Focus ACT is a not-for-profit non-government Incorporated Association that offers housing and accommodation support to adults who have an intellectual disability. Focus currently provides over 38,000 hours of direct support annually, with the level of support ranging from providing basic assistance for daily living and managing a home, to intensive 24-hour help.

The organisation aims to assist people with a disability to choose how they want to live, establish and maintain their own home in the community, and manage their daily lives.

About the Opportunity

Focus ACT has openings for casual Accommodation Support Workers to join their friendly team in Canberra.

The purpose of this role is to help people to live as independently as possible and to be an integral part of the society.

The organisation is looking for mature and enthusiastic individuals who are passionate and committed to helping others and have a genuine desire to improve the community.
